Traffic accident claims young life

Police are investigating a fatal traffic crash that occurred at Caboolture early Saturday morning.
Around 2am the man was walking with two men on Old Toorbul Point Road after leaving a nearby party when he was struck by a car.
Emergency services attended the scene and treated the 19-year-old Ningi man, but he passed away from injuries sustained in the crash.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
The two other men, driver and passenger of the vehicle were not injured.
Investigators continue to appeal for anyone who may have seen the incident or who may have dash cam footage of the area to contact Policelink on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
