Lagoon Creek Cafe is a social enterprise of the Caboolture Community Work Cooperative.

Lagoon Creek Cafe & Function Room is an exciting new social enterprise that was established by local people to provide a form of employment for people with a disability and/or mental illness who live in the Caboolture area who have in the past had mixed experiences finding and maintaining work.We know that meaningful employment is, for many people, essential for optimum well-being, self-esteem, confidence and a sense of belonging and inclusion.

Employment not only allows an individual a chance to feel valued by making a contribution, it allows greater access to networks and relationships and in essence the potential for a more hopeful future.

With the support of Better Together. Lagoon Creek Cafe provides fresh healthy food to Caboolture residence and visitors through a cafe, catered meeting room and lunch run. Of most important to Lagoon Creek Cafe is that it provides regular employment to people who have not previously had a positive experience of work. Lagoon Creek Cafe does this by providing a great work environment, training and support to members of the Caboolture Community Cooperative who choose to be part of its workforce.
